We also produce documentary style productions such as Oil Dorado: The Life and Times of an Oil Boom and KMEA Music for Life. KPTS recently produced a documentary on the Wichita State University plane crash in 1970 when a charter plane carrying WSU football players, coaches and donors crashed in the mountains west of Denver. 31 of the 40 on board were killed.
